I love Detroit in this spot on Thanksgiving. Public will likely agree with me and I don't care. My biggest NFL bet of the season was this Lions team against the Commanders which ended up being the most publicly backed team of the week and we cashed with ease. One thing the sharps and the pros don't take into account when crunching their numbers is Dan Campbell in revenge which to me is a massive edge for Detroit. It is truly not quantifiable but Campbell has shown to bring his best in these spots. In the last 4 major revenge games for the Lions, they are 4-0 SU, 4-0 ATS, and have put up 40+ points in all 4 of those games. Thanksgiving qualifies as revenge here as the Lions lost week 1 to this Packers team. Not only that but 2 seasons ago, Green Bay came into Ford Field on Thanksgiving and caught a "fat and sassy" Lions squad and embarrassed them. This game has double revenge here and I expect another crooked number offensively for Detroit. Week 1 was a bit of a fluke as the spot could not have been better for Green Bay and couldn't have been worse for the Lions. This sets up as a really good spot for Detroit. Don't let the sharp money betting the Packers scare you here, lay it with Detroit (you can now get -2.5 as I got a bad number early) as I expect them to win this game 41-24.

Plug your nose for this one. I know at first look it looks very easy to back the Broncos in this game. You have a team who has won 8 straight games against a team who has lost 6 in a row, but betting is never that easy. Both teams are coming off a bye and I much prefer the team going in on the bye on a losing streak than I do the team on the winning streak. I expect the Commanders to give their biggest effort in this game and I think we could see a flat Broncos team on Sunday Night. When you look at the Broncos 8 game winning streak, only 2 of their wins have come by more than 4 points. This team is finding ways to win but they aren't winning by margin. They are also on the road vs an out of conference opponent, their least important game on the schedule. Now that the Chiefs lost on Thanksgiving, I think a lot of the pressure is off Denver in this game here. Lastly, the season is shot for the Commanders, however, they will show up here being a primetime home game. Don't call me shocked if the Broncos get caught here as I have the Commanders winning this game 20-19. Take the points.
